We are a group that is open to everyone with an interest in teaching Palliative Care to medical students.

We hold a national conference once a year. Details of our previous conferences are available via the “Annual Conferences” tab.

On Friday March 13th we are holding a day workshop in London to write Single Best Answer Palliative Care questions for medical student Final Examinations, the Medical School Council Assessment Alliance national question bank and the future General Medical Council Medical Licensing Exam. The updated APM Curriculum for Undergraduate Medical Education and that Curriculum mapped onto the GMC’s “Tomorrow’s Doctors”. are available via the “APM Curriculum” tab.
Each UK Medical School has been invited to supply information for the “Medical School Information” tabs. This supplies information concerning the lead teachers in each school, with a summary of their curriculum.
The co-leads are Prof John Ellershaw (Liverpool) and Prof Stephen Barclay (Cambridge).
